So you just signed up for that really amazing company. Congratulations! You are now a business owner. The first few days or months are exciting because people you know are buying from you but, what if your upline is no good at gathering referrals the first time you sit with that person?
Trust and believe this is not to cast fear. this is the reality of many network marketing and direct sales companies. Your network is exhausted quickly if you do not know what you are doing. You are taught to recruit to teach them how the business works but in the process you may accidentally exhaust their network by lack of skill too. Been there! However, as a new or seasonally stuck marketer I wanted to shed some light on the beauty of joining these businesses. My #1 favorite reason, you get to brand yourself and become a legitimate business...if its done right. the perks of personal branding in a direct sales business... • you don't have to manufacturer products or legalize services • build your own reputation, don't inherit the company's • tax breaks • do vendor and speaking events as a YOU not a company rep Every successful person in direct sales companies do it without realizing (or maybe they do). This is how you will see many can write books, speak at events, do other products without the company being attached to them. Personally, I believe we live in a time where it is smarter to brand especially for social media purposes. so lets briefly talk about how not to brand on social media while we are all here. do not: x spam your page with company curated posts (everyone from your company is doing it) x have blurry photos of product with alot going on in the background x ask people every week to join your team so bluntly x post unrelated posts to your personal brand x think because you posted it that people will just want it Now lets talk about things you should be doing to build your brand offline: • vendor events • collaborations (where the $$$ is) • specialized bulk products • specialized home events • teach a free class (ideal for those that sell services) There are so many things you can do within these few tasks offline. You should be doing 2 of these every month if you want to transition full time. If you are full time you should be doing all of these. These are not only tasks to make a sale but will also lead you to recruits. There is so much to learn within "branding for network marketing" that it would take you a few days to read it here. However, to make it more convenient for you I will be hosting a class July 10th on this topic. I will be going over: -social media compliance and your company -building your personal brand to stand out -strategy for (vendor events, collaborations, specialized home events, specialized bulk products, and teaching a free class) -how to use social media for direct sales agents -websites -recruiting and more This is an in depth course that will start you on the right path of your business for the offline and online marketer. The first 25 will get their tickets for $25 then it will go up to $67. You will be able to implement most of what you learn in the first few days. Invite your team because I know the importance of you all wanting to win together. see you there!
